p. 21 Numbers along horizontal axis incorrectly positioned.
p. 178 Second last equation on page would be better expressed as:
(8z2 – 6z + 1)Y(z) = zX(z)
Last equation on page should be:
8y[n+2] – 6y[n+1] + y[n] = x[n+1]
p. 331 The dashed line marking a gain of 0.9095 (third dashed line from top) should be lowered by 1 mm.
p. 462 In Figure 11.28(f)(ii), the label on the vertical axis should be |D2(W)|, not |D1(W)|, i.e. change subscript from 1 to 2.
p. 667 The fourth line of Section 15.8 should refer to 1 Mbyte, not 8Mbytes, of storage.
p. 724 Spacing in two equations makes interpretation difficult. The third line of the first equation should read:
The fourth equation should read:
Instructor’s Manual Errors
p. 34 The first equation in the answer for 4.24 should read:
h[n] = 0.5d[n] + 0.4d[n–1] + 0.3d[n–2] + 0.2d[n–3]
p. 163 The second equation in the answer for 11.2 should read:
Instructor’s CD Powerpoint Slide Errors
Pictures in Figure 16.57(b) and Figure 16.57(c) should be swapped (leaving captions unchanged).
